1. What services does Steelrode provide?
Steelrode is a steel materials service centre that provides quality Cut to Length steel and slitting services; we also trade-in bulk coils. We are one of the largest steel manufacturers in South Africa and cut, produce and deliver steel according to the client’s needs. Trust us for the finest in steel.
2. Where is Steelrode situated, and how do I get there?
Steelrode is a South African based company situated in Alrode, Gauteng. For detailed directions, please see the map provided under downloads.
3. What material qualities do you supply?
We supply all the standard qualities provided by Mittal. For a full list of these materials, please contact our sales department. We also supply graded material for the automotive and appliance industry.
4. What thickness range are your machines capable of using?
Our Cut to Length lines can handle any thickness from 0.4mm up to 16mm. Our slitting line can handle any thickness from 0.4mm up to 4mm. 5. What is your average turnaround time on an order?
The average turnaround time for a standard size order is two to three working days. We have upgraded our machinery and systems to improve on turnaround time. We have machines that are exclusive to Steelrode; this ensures a service that only we can provide.
6. What is your delivery radius?
Our delivery radius extends to Bloemfontein, Nelspruit, Witbank, Vanderbijlpark and Rustenburg. Arrangements can be made for deliveries to regions not mentioned above. Please fill in the collection and packaging instructions sheets (available from the download page) and we will contact you if such a delivery can be made possible. Steelrode will do our utmost to deliver to your specified area of Africa.
7. Do you export?
Yes, we are proficient in steel export to all Sub-Saharan countries.
